Dimensions and equipment capacities for the
Evans Strata system follow:
- Full depth console measures 48" from the front of the worksurface to the farthest outside surface of the rear door (37" for the reduced depth version).
- Console height is 47" preserving line of sight while seated at the console.
- The worksurface height is 28.5".
Monitor and Equipment Space:
- Full depth console fits most 21" monitors.
- Available height for monitor is 20.75".
- Maximum tower CPU height is 19.75" (on a fixed shelf) with upper monitor shelf installed and 19.25" when using an adjustable shelf.
- Equipment depth for the full depth console is 22.25" for a fixed shelf and 17.75" for an adjustable shelf. These dimensions for the reduced depth console are 18.5" and 17.75".
- Equipment width for the full depth console is 17.5" for a fixed shelf and 16.0" for an adjustable shelf.
Rackmount Space:
- Upper level equipment front is 8 RU (14").
- Lower equipment rackmount is 9 RU (15.75").
- Front to back space for rack mount equipment in the bottom of the full depth console is 17.75".
Console Finishes:
- Forty finish colors are available (please request color samples), plus you can have the base of the strata console a different color from the top giving you the ability to create the look best for you and your facility. Ask our staff to prepare an image showing the best color combination for you.
- All worksurfaces are covered with WilsonArt Dove Moraine laminate to reduce eye strain and visual distraction.

Human Factors and Ergonomics

Ventilation:
- Keeps the computer equipment cool and well functioning thereby reducing maintenance costs and extending the life of the equipment.
Adjustable Monitor Shelf:
- Allows for individual monitor adjustment to reduce neck stress.
Adjustable Worksurface:
- Each operator can set their worksurface height at the most appropriate level to reduce shoulder strain. Note this is an option, please be sure to ask our sales professional about this option.
Slide-out Shelf:
- Computer equipment is hidden for tidier looking workspace.
- Slide-out shelf allows easy access by the operator. No crawling underneath the console.

Sightlines:
- Equipment is built to allow the operator to see over the top of the console to a display wall, for example, without having to strain the neck.
- Monitor shelf adjustability permits the operator to maintain most appropriate sightline for personal comfort.
Anti-glare Glass:
- Reduces the glare from neighboring sources and therefore the onset of sore, dry, red eyes. Work is more enjoyable.
Accessory Placement:
- Each operator can place their phone shelf and binder storage where it is most efficient.
Cable Management:
- Cables are kept out of the way by being fastened inside the frame structure.
